Our 39th Season - Since 1973

Red Barn Park - Gislason Beach
1474 S. Shore Drive (South end of Range Line Road)

Town-owned park open to the public year-round.
Alcohol-free park includes playground, picnic area with tables and grills,
Drinking fountain, hiking trails, swings and benches on the beach.

Since 1973, the Red Barn has been offering summer events.
Live entertainment every Friday (one Tuesday) night at 7:30.
Local and visiting artists perform in a variety of musical styles.
Many plays and theatrical performances have been staged
"Out at the Red Barn" through the years.
Children's Story Hour (& snack) six Thursday summer nights at 7:00
The Red Barn also hosts Island Players' children's acting camp,
lectures, workshops & seminars.

The Annual BIG Picnic, Children's Story Hour and many events are free.
Admission to live entertainment events:
$5 adults $3 Students (pre-school and younger- free )
Family rate -$20

Summer events are advertised in the
Island Observer and on posters around the Island.
